Description
Sold Per Stick
Features and Benefits:
TIGarc H-13 Tool Steel Tig Wire is ideal for water cooled hot working tools. Its 'tungsten-free’ weld deposits are homogeneous, porous-free, dense, and may be re-hardened and/or annealed.
Surface preparation is important, clean and free from any oil or grease.
Pre-heat is advised before welding 1 to 5 layers are recommended for build up.
Between runs, clean weld deposit with a clean wire brush and inspect weld.
Grind and correct problems such as undercut, inadequate melting, etc.
After welding, it is recommended to let the part cool very slowly at a rate of about 5 – 10 degrees C per 1/2 hour.
When cooled, the surface of the weld can be ground to the near finish, also can be machined with carbide tooling.
Welding wire for hot work tool steels with excellent hot tensile properties, high hot wear resistance. Heat checking resistance.
