Description
MIGarc Welding Gas Flow Gauge Tester Argon / Co2 / Nitrogen
Here's the simple, low cost, way to test every welder, torch and gas flow regulator in your shop to save big on wasted gas.
Testing Your Mig Gas Flow:
With the wire feed drive roller disconnected and the welding torch pointed upward, hold the Gas Flow tester against the end of the welding torch nozzle and depress the trigger on the welding torch.
Gas flowing through the gun pushes the stainless steel ball up the acrylic tube. Gas flow rates are read on the scale printed on the acrylic tube (Argon / Co2 / Nitrogen in liters per minute and. then, adjust the gas rate accordingly.
Testing Your Tig Gas Flow:
With your Tig Torch pointed upward hold the Gas Flow tester against the end of the ceramic shielding cup, and open the gas valve or operate the switch.
Gas flowing through the gun pushes the stainless steel ball up the acrylic tube. Gas flow rates are read on the scale printed on the acrylic tube (Argon / Co2 / Nitrogen in liters per minute and. then, adjust the gas rate accordingly.
This is also a great way to test for gas regulator accuracy, leaks in the machine or torch at the same time.
